SASSA Payment Dates for December 2021 have been confirmed by the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA). Approximately 46% of South Africa’s population are social grants recipients. The grant amounts that SASSA beneficiaries in South Africa will receive are now as follows:
- Old age and disability grants – R1 890
- Persons over the age of 75 and war veterans – R1 910
- Foster care – R1 050
- Care dependency – R1 890
- Child support – R460
Regarding the SASSA R350 Grant, the agency said they do no pay the money on a designated day of the month. The agency encourages all SRD grant recipients in South Africa to wait for an SMS confirming that their money is available before going to the post office.
